Ishando AMCOS is a relatively new coffee producing group in southwestern Tanzania. Founded in 2018 in the Songwe and Mbozi region, AMCOS comprised only 25 members focused on collecting home processed coffee. In 2024 AMCOS established a central washing station for their membership of small coffee farmers and today is able to process about 60 tons of washed coffee annually. Coffees in this region grow at altitude of approximately 5200 feet. After a 24-36 hour fermentation the washed coffee is sun dried on raised beds.
